Hello everyone, I started this blog totally excited, with lots of ideas of crafts that I was going to create and show everyone then, the cycle of my migraine headaches hit me. It has been almost two months since my last post. I thought that this was going to be a blog about my crafts, but it seems as though it might be a little more personal.
Let me start from the beginning. I have had migraine headaches since my mid twenties. Or should I say for over 30 years. They became debilitating in my thirties and effected my entire life which included my personal life and career. It seems to go in cycles, where I will have a day, a week or even a good month with no pain, then when it hits, I can’t do anything. It just robs me of my life, takes away my self confidence, constant brain fog and inability to get things done. When I do have good days, the creativity flows and I love to work on my art. I truly enjoy working on my miniature projects. Polymer clay and paper projects are my passion. I try and do as much as I can because I don’t know when the next migraine headache is going to hit me.
I am always looking for the newest treatments and I have tried everything under the sun from Imitrix, Botox and now I am taking Aimovig. I am hoping these migraines will someday go away.
I am hoping to work on some new projects now for the holidays, and share some new ideas soon, so please stay tuned because I am excited and hopeful about this new blog.
Thank you.
